A warm greige ivory ground worked in a fine all-over broken dash — offset ivory and greige-tan strokes running in horizontal rows across the whole field, like a loose brick-bond of short lines. Tonal and quiet, the pattern reads as texture from a distance and holds a subtle directional movement up close.

Hand-knotted in natural wool, the ivory and greige coming from the fleece rather than dye. The dashes are woven in the palest shift of tone, so the surface holds a quiet rhythm rather than reading as a graphic pattern. Specialist-washed for a smooth hand and depth, the oat moves between warm cream, greige and a soft sand. Dense and even underfoot, made for years of real use.
