A pale ivory near-solid worked in a large-scale tone-on-tone herringbone — wide chevrons in the softest shift of cream and oat, barely surfacing as the light moves across the field. No border, fringe at both ends. Quiet and expansive, it settles a room and reads almost plain from across the floor, with a gentle directional warmth up close.

Handwoven in natural wool, the cream coming from the fleece rather than dye. The herringbone is woven in the palest shift of tone, so the surface holds a quiet movement rather than reading as a graphic pattern. Specialist-washed for a smooth hand and depth, flat, tight and hardwearing underfoot, made for years of real use.

Woven to order in your choice of size and colour, direct from our workshops — about three to four weeks, priced honestly because it comes straight from the makers.
