A pale ivory near-solid worked in a very fine tone-on-tone herringbone — barely-there chevrons in undyed cream that surface and recede as the light moves. Almost plain from across the room, it rewards a closer look with quiet directional texture, a floor that settles a space and disappears into it.

Hand-knotted in natural wool, the cream coming from the fleece rather than dye. The herringbone is woven in the palest shift of tone, so the surface holds a quiet movement rather than reading as a graphic pattern. Specialist-washed for a smooth hand and depth, the ivory holds warm cream and a soft oat. Dense and even underfoot, made for years of real use.
