A deep burgundy worked in fine horizontal ridges, with faint block shifts breaking the surface into soft panels across the field. The pile carries a low sheen, so the wine tone deepens and lifts as the light moves — rich and enveloping without going dark on the room.

Hand-knotted in natural wool with a soft lustre. The ridged lines are built through weave direction, run in banded rows that catch light along their length, so the pattern comes from texture and sheen rather than any printed motif. Specialist-washed for a smooth hand and tonal range — the burgundy moves between wine, oxblood and a lit garnet where the light hits. Low, dense and even underfoot, made for years of real use.
