A natural oat and ivory ground cut into sculpted fields — blocks of ribbing running at shifting angles around a soft curved arc, all worked in high-low pile so the surface reads as carved relief. Tonal and tactile, it brings quiet sculptural interest to a room without any strong colour, the cream tones catching light along every ridge.

Hand-knotted in natural wool, the oat and ivory coming from the fleece rather than dye. The pattern is built through pile height and weave direction — raised ribbed blocks set against clipped grounds, with a curved motif drawn through the surface — so the design comes from texture and light rather than print. Specialist-washed for a soft hand and depth, dense and substantial underfoot, made for years of real use.
