An allover field of broken horizontal marks — short dashes, hatches and small rectangular fragments scattered across a warm oat ground in charcoal-brown, reading like a textile transcription of handwritten notes. Dense and layered, each row different, the eye constantly finding new marks.
Hand-knotted in natural wool, the fragmented marks worked in charcoal and warm brown against the pale oat pile. Specialist-washed for a soft hand and depth. Dense and hardwearing underfoot.
Woven to order in your choice of size and colour, direct from our workshops — about three to four weeks, priced honestly because it comes straight from the makers.
