A warm flax greige worked tone-on-tone, its surface run through with fine horizontal striations and soft tonal blocks that ghost in and out as the light moves. Near-solid and quietly reflective, it opens up a large room and lays down like still, lit water across the floor.

Hand-knotted in natural wool with a high, silk-like sheen. The striations are woven — closely graded rows of flax, oat and a cooler greige laid across each other — so the faint blockwork surfaces through tone and light rather than any printed motif. Specialist-washed for a smooth hand and depth, the greige moves between warm flax, sand and a soft silver as you cross the room. Low, dense and even underfoot, made for years of real use.

Woven to order in your choice of size and colour, direct from our workshops — about three to four weeks, priced honestly because it comes straight from the makers.
