Soft Ground - Relic - Sand

A warm sand ground carrying a traditional medallion with scrolling palmettes and an ornamental border — the motifs washed tone-on-tone in soft tan, the whole surface reading like a sunlit stone relief. Traditional in every line but quiet enough to sit with modern furniture without argument.
Hand-knotted in natural wool, the medallion and border motifs worked in warm tan against the sand pile. Specialist-washed twice for a soft hand and the faded depth that makes the pattern settle rather than shout. Dense and hardwearing underfoot.
Woven to order in your choice of size and colour, direct from our workshops — about three to four weeks, priced honestly because it comes straight from the makers.
Works with: oak and walnut floors, cream and warm-white walls, linen upholstery, and brass or aged-gold hardware.
