A warm sand ground carrying an all-over tribal medallion pattern — rows of octagonal güls framed by a wide geometric border, worked tone-on-tone in soft brown and tan. Faded and low, it reads as a gently aged heirloom, the muted palette keeping a busy traditional design calm and easy to live with.

Hand-knotted in natural wool at a low, even pile. The medallions and border are woven in soft, low-contrast earth tones against the sand ground, faded to a washed softness rather than sharp colour. Specialist-washed for a smooth hand and depth, the sand holds tan and wheat with the motifs in a muted brown. Dense and even underfoot, made for years of real use.

Woven to order in your choice of size and colour, direct from our workshops — about three to four weeks, priced honestly because it comes straight from the makers.
