A warm greige near-solid flatweave framed by a plain dark walnut-brown border with a fine notched edge detail running around all four sides. The ground is left entirely open — no pattern, no motif — so the border does all the work, giving a raw, considered piece that grounds a room without competing with it.

Handwoven in natural wool. The greige field is flat and close-woven in undyed tones, with the brown border worked in as a separate darker wool. Specialist-washed for a soft hand and depth, the taupe holds warm greige and a soft sand. Flat, tight and hardwearing underfoot, made for years of real use.

Woven to order in your choice of size and colour, direct from our workshops — about three to four weeks, priced honestly because it comes straight from the makers.
